Blanca was born Blanca Elaine Reyes on February 10, 1986 in Puerto Rico.
Her father was a drug user and alcoholic until an encounter with Jesus led her family to the path of Christ. Blanca was a member of Group 1 Crew from the inception until she started her solo career in 2013. She collaborated with the group Building 429 on the song “Press On”, which peaked at number 7 on Billboard’s Her Christian Her Songs chart and remained there for 26 weeks. She also contributed songs in Spanish, such as the introduction to her album ‘Más’. Blanca’s debut album, Blanca, was released on May 4, 2015 via Word Records. Her debut solo single, “Who I Am,” peaked at number one on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart and #27 on the annual chart. Her second release as a solo artist, Who I Am EP, was released on January 13, 2015, also via Word Records, and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Christian Songs charts.
