Cade Thompson

Born in Joplin, Missouri, Thompson grew up in a Christian family with a mom who worked as a youth pastor. From a young age, he was drawn to music, singing in elementary school and at church. Around age nine, he moved with his family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he continued to develop his musical skills, eventually learning guitar, piano, and drums. At age 14, Thompson wrote his first song and began leading worship at his church soon after. He continued to hone his skills, attending songwriting camps and drawing inspiration from artists like TobyMac, Phil Wickham, and Matthew West. In 2019, following his high school graduation, he moved to Nashville and signed with Rascal Flatts singer Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records. The following year, Thompson released his debut single, the Bryan Fowler-produced “Provider.”
